The Ammersee is the third largest lake in Bavaria; only 5 minutes by car from us, very nice bathing beach with kiosk and playground and great for Stand Up Paddling.

The Starnbergersee is the second largest lake in Bavaria, lido with sauna on the lake, rose island or boat trip across the lake.

The Weßlingersee, Pilsensee und Wörthsee: The smaller lakes are suitable for walking, swimming or just relaxing.

Munich is our state capital with historical buildings and numerous museums. The Viktualienmarkt with Schrannehalle or the famous delicatessen Dallmayr with its delicacies are worth mentioning.

Landsberg is a medieval small town with small cafes and great shops. The beautiful Lech with seating.

Weilheim is a cosy small town in the Pfaffenwinkel with a pedestrian zone and many shopping opportunities.

Murnau is the market town on the Staffelsee with a very nice pedestrian zone and the Murnau Moos.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is the Zugspitze town with Upper Bavarian charm, many opportunities for hiking or horse-drawn carriage rides.

Andechs Monastery is the spiritual centre above the Ammersee with the oldest pilgrimage church in Bavaria.

On the holy mountain you will also find the famous Bräustüberl and the Klostergasthof with its beautiful beer garden.

In Landstetten you can book balloon rides and glide over the Fünfseenland.

Our royal castles: the most famous castle is Neuschwanstein, by King Ludwig the Kini, the most famous sight in Germany.

Hohenschwarngau is the childhood castle of King Ludwig near Füssen.

Linderhof Castle with its beautiful park is the most diverse and artistic ensemble of the 19th century.

Nymphenburg Castle with the Marstall Museum & Nympenburg Porcelain and the beautiful park.

Schleißheim Castle is the most impressive residence of the Wittelsbach dynasty with the Oberschleißheim hangar, outstation for Zeppelin sightseeing flights.
